Salary: £95 - £110 per day

The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs while promoting independence, engagement, and positive outcomes. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting primary aged pupils with a range of SEND needs including ASD and SEMH, working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support, manage behaviours, and ensure pupils remain engaged in learning.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
  • Experience working within a SEND setting
  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH or additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, resilient and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
