The school combine play and experiences to provide meaningful, exciting indoor and outdoor learning opportunities.
The Primary School are looking for a fluent Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant on a long term basis. The successful candidate will need to be able to speak the Welsh language fluently and will need to be experienced working with children across both Foundation phase and Key Stage 2 / KS2. You will need to be flexible between the working times of 08:30am 15:30pm and be able to get stuck in with the schooling life, ensuring all pupils are engaged in their learning.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- A Teaching Assistant/Childcare qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with children
- Fluent verbal and written Welsh
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to build valued and trusted relationships with students
- A can-do, positive attitude and approach to their work
- Patience and ability to remain calm under stressful situations
