We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fluent Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within a welcoming and supportive Welsh speaking primary school in the RCT area, supporting a Nursery Class. This is a long-term opportunity for the full academic year, starting in September 2026 and continuing through to July 2027. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during their early stages of development and who can become a consistent and reliable presence within the classroom team.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent Welsh speaker
- Previous experience working within an Early Years or Nursery setting
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
- Reliable, committed and able to commit to the full academic year
- Pro-active approach and the ability to use initiative within the classroom
- Positive, nurturing and patient attitude
The Successful Candidate Will
- Support children with learning and development activities
- Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and safe learning environment
- Encourage independence, confidence and social development
- Be adaptable, energetic and enthusiastic in supporting daily nursery routines
