Do you have experience supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, SEMH or learning difficulties? Are you patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships with pupils who require extra support? Do you have a passion for helping young people reach their full potential? Have you previously worked as a teaching assistant?
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant on a day to day or long term basis, supporting pupils across different key stages with needs such as ASD, SEMH and learning difficulties. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to provide one to one and small group support, helping to manage behaviour and promote engagement in the classroom.
Qualifications- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, including ASD or SEMH
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient and adaptable approach to support individual needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
