We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support the Foundation Phase at a Welsh-medium Primary School in Aberdare.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with pupils in the Foundation Phase, including those with mild additional learning needs such as ASD or challenging behaviour.
  • Support teachers in creating an enriching and Welsh-centric learning environment.
  • Build trusted relationships with students, parents and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification, or at least six months experience working with children.
  • Fluent verbal and written Welsh.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Positive, patient and calm in stressful situations.
