We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support the Foundation Phase at a Welsh-medium Primary School in Aberdare.
Responsibilities:
- Work with pupils in the Foundation Phase, including those with mild additional learning needs such as ASD or challenging behaviour.
- Support teachers in creating an enriching and Welsh-centric learning environment.
- Build trusted relationships with students, parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification, or at least six months experience working with children.
- Fluent verbal and written Welsh.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Positive, patient and calm in stressful situations.
