TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team, supporting Primary Schools across Brecon. Whether you\’re looking for full-time or part-time, long-term placements, we’d love to hear from you!
Your Role Will Involve:
Supporting class teachers with learning activities
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
Encouraging the development of social and emotional skills
We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working with children (in schools, clubs, nurseries or similar)
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
A passion for helping young learners succeed!
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential—your enthusiasm and commitment matter most!
