The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant starting after October half term. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and be able to work to their own initiative. The foundation phase classes are proactive and busy so being able to work in a fast paced setting is essential. This is a school where culture comes first and you can expect a warm, welcoming and most importantly supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Support foundation phase classes, adapt to a fast-paced setting, and use initiative to manage situations that may arise in the classroom.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Experience in working one to one with additional learning needs
