This Drama Teacher role sits within a thriving Performing Arts department, supported by state-of-the-art facilities created through a recent new build project. The school places staff development at the heart of its success, ensuring every Drama Teacher is supported to grow and progress within their career.

This Drama Teacher position is a long term placement, leading to a permanent, full-time role for the right candidate, starting September 2026. The successful Drama Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3-KS5, contributing to a well-established curriculum and preparing students for external examinations. As a Drama Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping performance opportunities, enriching the Performing Arts offer, and supporting students’ creative development both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful Drama Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome to apply
  • Experience teaching Drama across KS3-KS5
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to engage learners
  • A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
  • Ability to contribute to curriculum development within Performing Arts
  • A creative, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to teaching
