Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in schools, whether on a daily, long-term, or permanent basis. The role involves supporting teachers by assisting with classroom activities, preparing resources, and supervising students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
Key Requirements for the Cover Supervisor Role in Abersychan:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of six months’ relevant experience
- Confidence in managing classes of students aged 11 to 16+
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively to maintain student engagement
