Salary: £145 - £230 per day

Are you a passionate English Teacher with experience supporting students with additional needs? Do you have an engaging and creative approach to delivering English lessons in a specialist setting? Are you a qualified English Teacher looking for a full-time temp to perm opportunity within SEND education?

The setting is a specialist SEND provision in Swindon that supports children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), Autism (ASD) and associated barriers to learning. It promotes a nurturing and therapeutic approach, encouraging students to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships through personalised learning and strong pastoral support.

The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons to secondary aged students, supporting learners with EHCPs and additional needs while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and emotional progress.

Qualifications
  • QTS with an English specialism
  • Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND including SEMH and ASD
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • An engaging, resilient and proactive teaching approach
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
