The school is looking to appoint an ALN Experienced Teaching Assistant on a full‑time temporary basis from September 2026. The successful ALN Experienced Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils within the ALN unit, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, provide one‑to‑one support, and encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day. This caring and supportive school prides itself on providing a positive and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. Qualifications
- Experience working with children with Additional Learning Needs / ALN
- A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare qualification
- Experience supporting children on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A can‑do attitude with the ability to adapt to the needs of the pupils
