The school deploys a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles.
As a SEN Teacher, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. You will take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop as individuals and engage with the world.
The school is seeking an adaptable and engaging team player to take on this role. The successful SEN Teacher will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children's individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with pupils aged 3-11 with a wide range of learning disabilities including pupils with severe and complex social and communication difficulties.
Qualifications:
- QTS with Primary or SEN specialism
- Experience relating to working with pupils with autism and communication disorders
- Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviour
