General Cover Teacher Secondary Oxford

Looking for flexible work in education? We re currently supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Oxford in their search for General Cover Teachers to join them on a daily or long-term supply basis.

This is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to experience different subjects and year groups in a supportive school environment.

The School:

  • Large, mixed comprehensive school with strong behaviour policies

  • Supportive cover manager and SLT

  • Welcoming staff community and excellent CPD

The Role:

  • Delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

  • Providing feedback to the relevant subject teachers

The Ideal Candidate:

  • UK QTS or equivalent, or strong unqualified teachers with classroom experience

  • Adaptable, reliable, and confident across KS3 and KS4

  • A positive, professional approach to flexible teaching
