You will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs, many of whom may have experienced barriers to education. Subjects can be tailored to your specialism, although a flexible and creative approach to teaching is essential.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- Have experience working with secondary-aged pupils
- Be confident managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
- Have a strong understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed practice
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
