We are seeking a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher to join a specialist Alternative Provision in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who believes that relationships, consistency, and creativity are just as important as curriculum delivery. You will play a vital role in helping students re-engage with education, build confidence in maths, and achieve meaningful progress both academically and personally.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to small class groups
- Support students with a range of additional needs including Autism and SEMH
- Create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Understands the needs of students with Autism and SEMH challenges

- Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
