We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced GCSE English Teacher to join the team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a subject you are passionate about, while helping to motivate and support resit students as they work towards achieving their GCSE English qualification.

As a GCSE English Teacher, you will play a vital role in building learners’ confidence, raising aspirations, and delivering engaging lessons that help students overcome barriers and reach their goals. You will work within a supportive department, following and implementing high-quality schemes of learning while making a real difference to young people’s futures.

The successful GCSE English Teacher will have:

  • A first class or 2:1 degree in English
  • QTS, PGCE or DTTLS and experience in a further educational environment
  • Experience in teaching young people in a diverse setting.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • SEND and Safeguarding experience is desirable
