FE STEM Lecturers Needed in the Black Country for Engineering, Maths and Science.
Full-time & Part-time positions available at £25 - £35 per hour (dependent on experience).
TeacherActive is working in partnership with a further education college to recruit experienced STEM Lecturers. These roles are ideal for FE professionals who can deliver high-quality teaching within their specialist area and support learner progress in a post-16 environment.
- Engineering Lecturer (FE): Deliver Engineering programmes across FE pathways including BTEC, Level 2, 3 and apprenticeships where applicable, teaching areas such as Mechanical, Electrical or General Engineering while supporting learners with both practical and theoretical elements. Requirements include experience teaching Engineering in an FE or post-16 setting, a relevant engineering qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Maths Lecturer (FE): Deliver GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths, supporting learners with resits and progression targets and differentiating effectively for mixed-ability groups. Requirements include experience teaching Maths within FE or post-16, strong curriculum knowledge across GCSE and Functional Skills and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Science Lecturer (FE): Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Applied Science, delivering engaging lessons across FE programmes and preparing learners for assessments and further study. Requirements include experience teaching Science in an FE or post-16 setting, a relevant subject qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
