We are looking for compassionate and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our team on a day-to-day basis, with opportunities for long-term placements for the right candidates.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Residential Support Worker:
- Supporting young people with their daily routines and activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Building trusting and supportive relationships with young people
- Helping to create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment
- Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development
- Working flexible shifts, including waking nights
- Long-term opportunities available for the right person
Qualifications:
- Have experience working with children or young people in a residential, care or support setting
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can build positive and professional relationships with young people
- Remain calm and resilient when managing challenging situations
- Are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including waking nights
