- QTS Tutor - Maths, English or Science
- £22 an hour
We are seeking experienced, committed and passionate tutors to support children who may have SEND or SEMH needs for a tutoring role with a provider.
The hours are flexible within 9am–3pm and may consist of 2 or 3 hours each day. (This can vary)
You will prepare your own resources for sessions.
Responsibilities
- Tutor children in Maths, English and/or Science, focusing on SEND/SEMH needs.
- Deliver sessions 1:1 or in small groups as appropriate.
- Adapt materials and approaches to meet individual learner needs and maintain a calm, patient, supportive environment.
- Prepare and manage resources for each tutoring session.
Qualifications
- QTS - Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Experience working with children with SEND/SEMH
- Knowledge and ability to tutor Maths and/or English
- A passion for working closely with children in a relevant setting
- Ability to stay calm and patient and understanding
- Ability to work with students 1:1 and in small groups
