The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher on a full-time maternity cover contract starting in September. The successful Primary Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, using assessment and behaviour data to support progress, promoting positive behaviour, supporting social and emotional development, and working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 in the UK
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or additional needs
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual needs
  • A positive, resilient and proactive approach to supporting pupils and working as part of a team
