We are looking for a Health and Social Care & Childcare Teacher to start in September for a permanent position in a school based in St Helens. The successful candidate should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Health and Social Care / Childcare specialism and a current DBS on the Update Service. If you do not yet have a DBS on the Update Service, we can assist with obtaining one.

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to Key Stage 5 across Health and Social Care and Childcare subjects, inspiring and motivating students while working collaboratively with staff.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and support pupils’ overall development.

Qualifications

  • QTS with a Health and Social Care / Childcare specialism (or experience in the other subject if specialising in one)
  • Experience teaching up to KS5
  • Desire to make a positive difference to pupils
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
