TeacherActive is excited to be working in partnership with a handful of schools in St Helens to help them find a reliable Cover Supervisor. The schools are committed to their learners and value the hard work of their staff members. We are seeking a consistent and reliable Cover Supervisor for this term for day-to-day and short-term placements, with the potential for a longer-term role for the right candidate. This opportunity is great for a teacher with classroom experience who values flexibility in when they work, or an educator looking to gain more classroom experience. If you can build rapport with staff, are dependable, and eager to contribute to a secondary school in the rapidly developing St Helens area, we’d love to hear from you!
The successful Cover Supervisor will have experience in:
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged
- Providing support to learners across Key Stages 3 to 4 (Key Stage 5 experience would also be beneficial, but not essential)
- Supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
