TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist to support students with speech, language, and communication needs as part of their Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). This role involves working closely with three students who require SALT intervention.
The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be required to:
Provide targeted Speech and Language Therapy interventions for three students
Assess and support students with EHCP-based SALT needs
Monitor progress and write reports for annual EHCP reviews
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective communication strategies
Develop tailored approaches to support communication, social interaction, and language development
The successful Speech and Language Therapist will have:
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc or equivalent)
Experience working with neurodiverse students and EHCP requirements
Strong ability to develop and implement communication strategies
Passionate about helping students overcome communication barriers
