Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Exeter
Start date: Flexible
Salary: £100-£105 a day, depending on experience

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a SEND/Special Educational Needs and Disabilities School in Exeter. The school welcomes children from aged four to nineteen and supports those with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other moderate to severe Learning Difficulties.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis, working with both primary and secondary aged school children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Requirements
- 6 months experience in an education or care environment.
- Experience of working with SEND children or children with autism.
- Experience working with children with medical needs is not required but may be useful.
- Previous experience working one-to-one or with small groups is preferred.
- Experience working in a school environment is not required but will be an advantage.
