Salary: £90-£95 a day, depending on experience

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a SEND/Special Educational Needs and Disabilities School in Exeter. The school welcome children from aged four to nineteen and support those with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other moderate to severe Learning Difficulties.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistants on a temporary to permanent basis, working with both primary and secondary aged school children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Requirements:

6 months experience in an education or care environment.
Experience of working with SEND children or children with autism.
Experience working with children with medical needs is not required but may be useful.
Previous experience working one-to-one or with small groups is preferred.
Experience working in a school environment is not required but will be an advantage.
