We are looking for a qualified, experienced, enthusiastic and naturally caring SEND teaching assistant.
Responsibilities:
- To have sensitivity and understanding.
- To be patient and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- To have active listening skills.
- To be able to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
- To be flexible and open to change.
- To have excellent verbal communication skills.
- To be able to adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
Qualifications:
- A level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification / open to unqualified applicants too.
Essential Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the update service is an advantage but we can apply for one for you if needed.
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
- Professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the last 5 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
