Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Southport Start Date: November Salary: £90-£100 per day Do you have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a primary school setting? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Southport, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. The school is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where children with additional needs are supported to access the curriculum, build positive relationships and achieve their individual learning goals. The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant from November on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in Key Stage 1 / KS1, helping with classroom activities, emotional regulation, communication and social development while working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
