Salary: £130 - £220 per day

The school is committed to delivering personalised education through a highly supportive, therapeutic approach, promoting independence, communication and confidence while ensuring every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time ASC Teacher from September on a long-term basis. The successful ASC Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), working closely with experienced teaching assistants and multidisciplinary professionals to provide a consistent, structured and supportive learning environment.

The successful ASC Teacher will have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Extensive experience working with pupils with ASC, SLD and ADHD
  • Advanced knowledge of strategies to support pupils with autism, complex learning needs and neurodiverse learners
  • Experience delivering personalised and differentiated learning programmes
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching
