TeacherActive are proud to be working closely with a number of Secondary Schools across Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and the wider Kent area. We are actively recruiting motivated Cover Supervisors to support our partner schools with high-quality, reliable staff.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervising classes during short-term teacher absence across a range of subjects
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring learning objectives are met
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Offering support to students who need help understanding tasks
- Ensuring a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Being flexible and confident working across different departments and year groups
Ideal Cover Supervisor
- Hold CACHE Level 2/3 or have a minimum of 6 months classroom-based experience
- Be confident managing classes of students aged 11-16+
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Be adaptable, proactive, and willing to work across various secondary settings
