Are you a qualified primary teacher or an experienced unqualified teacher with strong classroom experience? Are you looking for a flexible role where you can pick and choose what days you work? Do you enjoy creating engaging, supportive learning environments wherever you go?
I have been working closely with primary school settings for the past two years, supporting them with all aspects of their recruitment. I am currently supporting various primary schools in South Ockendon and the surrounding areas, who are looking for primary teachers on a supply basis. There will be opportunities for long‑term work if this is something you would be open to.
Responsibilities
- The primary teacher role will involve stepping into classes when regular staff are absent. This could be for daily sickness cover or longer‑term absences such as maternity leave.
- You will deliver pre‑set work, manage the classroom, and keep learning on track, while adapting quickly to different schools, year groups, and routines.
- It is a flexible role that suits teachers who are confident, organised, and comfortable working across a variety of settings and year groups.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong, relevant classroom experience
- Confidence managing a classroom independently
- Ability to deliver pre‑set work and maintain routines
- Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
