The Role
- Supporting children aged 0–5 in their learning, development, and wellbeing, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children’s learning and development
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and caring environment
- Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
- Working closely with nursery staff, parents, and carers
- Following safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
