Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 in your specialist area (Psychology, Sociology, or Health & Social Care).
Inspire and challenge students to think critically and develop independent learning skills.
Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.
Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities within the department.
Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, progress, and achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support an inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching Social Sciences at KS4 and/or KS5
Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
A commitment to fostering curiosity, confidence, and respect in learners
