Job Overview
South East / temporary – £25–30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications). We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons in a well‑established mainstream college in Slough that holds a Good OFSTED rating. The successful candidate will inspire motivated learners, support their progress, and help them develop confidence, knowledge and skills for further study or future careers within science.
Responsibilities
- Deliver established schemes of learning across science disciplines.
- Create a positive classroom environment and support students to achieve excellent outcomes.
Qualifications
- A first class or 2:1 degree in a social science subject.
- QTS, PGCE or DTTLS and experience in a further educational environment (extensive industry experience will also be considered).
- Experience teaching young people in a diverse setting.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
