TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Bradford that is looking to appoint a Primary SEND LSA to join their specialist SEND provision. The school is committed to providing an inclusive environment where all pupils are supported to thrive, with a strong focus on individual development, wellbeing and achievement. The school is looking to recruit a Primary SEND LSA on a long-term basis with an immediate start.

The successful Primary SEND LSA will work within the SEND provision, supporting children from Early Years through to Year 3 with Autism / ASD and complex needs. The role will involve providing both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils access learning and develop their communication, social and emotional skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD and complex needs
  • Experience working within a Primary School or SEND setting
  • Knowledge of strategies to support children with additional learning needs
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
