The college is looking for enthusiastic GCSE English & Maths Resit Teachers for a September Start. These roles are ideal for experienced teachers who are passionate about supporting post-16 learners to successfully achieve their GCSE qualifications. The successful GCSE English & Maths Resit Teachers will deliver engaging lessons, monitor learner progress, adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and create a positive classroom environment that encourages confidence and achievement.
The successful GCSE English & Maths Resit Teacher will have:
- QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- A degree in English, Maths or a related subject
- Experience teaching GCSE English or GCSE Maths, ideally within a Further Education or Secondary setting
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A passion for supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes
