The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with additional needs such as ASD and SEMH, working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support and help manage behaviour effectively.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, including ASD or SEMH
  • A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach
  • A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
