Are you a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in Early Years? TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming 1-form entry religious primary school in South Birmingham to recruit for a Level 3 TA to support in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department on a maternity cover basis.

About the Role:

  • Working full-time Monday to Friday (8:00am – 4:00pm)
  • Supporting pupils within EYFS, delivering small group interventions and 1:1 where needed
  • Implementing and supporting Read Write Inc. phonics delivery – RWI training is essential
  • Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive learning
  • Supporting children with additional needs – experience with SEND is desirable but not essential

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an Early Years setting, ideally in a primary school
  • Read Write Inc. training and the ability to deliver phonics sessions effectively
  • A nurturing, flexible and proactive approach to learning support
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the school's ethos and values
