Are you passionate about helping children and young people feel safe, supported, and able to thrive? Sheffield's special schools are looking for caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
Location: Sheffield (various sites: S8, S11, S2, S10, S5 and more)
Contract: Full-Time (part time would also be considered)
Age Range: Various ages and needs across the different schools
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, autism, and communication challenges. Every day is different, and the role suits someone who is patient, adaptable, and motivated by making a positive impact.
What We’re Looking For

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils in lessons, helping them engage and feel confident

- Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet individual needs
- Bringing enthusiasm and creativity to a variety of subjects, from core learning to practical and outdoor activities
- Creating a positive, reassuring environment where every pupil feels valued
