We are looking for a patient, caring and confident Specialist Teaching Assistant to join an innovative and inclusive special school in Sheffield that supports neurodiverse young people aged 11–19. What the Role Involves

  • Supporting pupils with a range of communication, interaction, social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Helping pupils access a personalised curriculum designed to build confidence, resilience and real-world skills.
  • Supporting pupils to access personalised learning across a broad and inclusive curriculum.
  • Helping pupils engage with learning in ways that match their individual strengths and needs.
  • Supporting communication, interaction and relationship-building throughout the school day.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and specialist professionals.
  • Assisting with structured routines, sensory experiences and social skills development.
  • Providing mobility support and personal care where required.
