We are looking for a patient, caring and confident Specialist Teaching Assistant to join an innovative and inclusive special school in Sheffield that supports neurodiverse young people aged 11–19. - Supporting pupils with a range of communication, interaction, social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Helping pupils access a personalised curriculum designed to build confidence, resilience and real-world skills.
- Supporting pupils to access personalised learning across a broad and inclusive curriculum.
- Helping pupils engage with learning in ways that match their individual strengths and needs.
- Supporting communication, interaction and relationship-building throughout the school day.
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and specialist professionals.
- Assisting with structured routines, sensory experiences and social skills development.
- Providing mobility support and personal care where required.
