Are you passionate about supporting young people both academically and emotionally? Do you have experience working with students displaying challenging behaviour or SEMH needs? Are you looking for a full-time Pastoral Assistant role in a supportive secondary school environment?
This welcoming school promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment, placing a strong focus on student wellbeing, behaviour support and emotional development throughout the school community.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Pastoral Assistant on a full-time basis starting ASAP. The successful Pastoral Assistant will be responsible for supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to manage behaviour, improve attendance, provide emotional support and build positive relationships to encourage student engagement and progress.
The successful Pastoral Assistant will have:
- Experience working with secondary age students in a school or similar setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting students with SEMH or challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
