English Teacher
Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £160 - £250 per day (Paid to Scale)
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher who can inspire a love of literature and language in young people, manage classroom effectively across KS3 and KS4, and is qualified for a long-term role with the potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities
Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Assess student progress and complete associated marking responsibilities.
Qualifications
QTS with an English specialism.
Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
Strong planning, preparation and marking skills.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
A thorough understanding of the English curriculum.
A positive, adaptable and committed approach to teaching and learning.
