Are you an experienced Inclusion Worker with a passion for supporting children and young people in alternative provision? Do you have experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 to Key Stage 5 / KS5? Can you build positive relationships with pupils who may require additional support to engage successfully with their education?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with an alternative provision in Wakefield that supports pupils across KS1 to KS5. The provision is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where children and young people can re-engage with education and make positive progress.
The provision is looking to take on an Inclusion Worker on either a short-term or long-term basis, depending on the successful candidate's preference. The successful Inclusion Worker will support pupils across KS1 to KS5, helping them engage with learning, build positive relationships and overcome barriers to their education.
The successful Inclusion Worker will have:
- Experience working with children or young people in an education, alternative provision or similar setting
- Experience supporting pupils across KS1 to KS5
- The ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- A passion for supporting children and young people to achieve their potential
