Do you want to specialise in supporting students with additional needs? We are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND Practitioner to provide targeted support and ensure all students can access the curriculum successfully.

About You

We are looking for a patient, confident, and empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND Practitioner who can support students with a range of additional learning needs, including SEND, SEMH challenges, and communication barriers. Experience in or willingness to complete Trauma‑Informed Practice training is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEND
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or EHCPs
  • Adapt learning resources to suit a variety of abilities
  • Monitor progress and contribute to assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and families to support learning
  • Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in the classroom
