About the role
TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEND provision based in Stoke‑on‑Trent. The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, alongside Autism / ASD. The leadership team is committed to creating a safe and engaging setting where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time long‑term basis. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and within small groups, helping to manage behaviour, promote emotional regulation and encourage engagement within the classroom. The role will involve supporting students with SEMH needs and Autism / ASD across different age groups.

- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, specifically SEMH and Autism / ASD
