The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and support pupils with additional learning needs, helping to deliver engaging learning activities, promote positive behaviour, and encourage independence throughout the school day.
Qualifications- Experience working with children with SEND within an educational setting
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
