As a qualified Teaching Assistant, you are to provide specialist support to pupils' learning, behaviour and development including those with special educational needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant looking to inspire young learners. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students and teachers.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Classroom preparation
- Pupil support
- Overseeing pupils with special educational needs
- Teacher support
- Classroom management
In this particular setting, you will be supporting children with autism.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools / Level 2 qualifications also welcome!
- Great ability to interact with pupils and keep them engaged
- At least 6 months of prior experience working in schools
