Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive Teacher? Do you have a good understanding of the national curriculum? Are you able to deliver engaging lessons to secondary age students with autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs?
Teacher is thrilled to be working with a number of schools in the Leeds and Wakefield area who are looking for SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher for both long-term and day-to-day cover. This means the successful candidate will be working with pupils across multiple Key Stages. The role would be ideal for those who are either wanting part-time roles around their schedule or full-time placements.
The ideal SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher will have:
- UK QTS with SEND experience.
- The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons.
- A positive approach to teaching.
- The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
- Fantastic classroom management.
