Job Title: SEND Teacher Location: Leeds Start Date: Immediate Start Salary: £140-£180 per day Can you inspire and motivate children with challenging behaviours? Do you have strong classroom management? Do you have the expertise to assist SEND pupils in achieving the best results they can? TeacherActive is honoured to be working alongside a specialist SEMH school based in Leeds. This school provides a stable, comfortable and supportive environment for children with challenging behaviours who may need additional support. This amazing school boasts about their fantastic support network, quality private education, referrals to support services and the additional support they offer families. The school is looking to employ a motivated, driven and reliable SEMH Teacher on a long-term basis, which will could lead permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working alongside Primary and Secondary schools which will include working with SEMH children, helping them with exams and preparation for their SATs and GCSEs. The main focus of this role is to help students achieve outstanding results in their subjects, whilst receiving support they may need for their challenging behaviours. The successful SEMH Teacher will have: QTS Qualification (ECTs are also welcome). Experience teaching Primary and Secondary schools. Understanding the needs of SEMH pupils.
