SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Salary: £89 – £95 per day

Start date: January 2026

Responsibilities

An outstanding school based in Cardiff have an opportunity arising for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. The role will entail working in an SRB Base with a children with ALN. ALN experience is required.

Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis.

Requirements

  • Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
  • A calm, patient and caring personal
  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines

Application & Compliance

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Child Only disclosure and provide at least 2 references.

Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and will require you to supply good professional references. We pride ourselves on excellent service.
