The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant from September. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with ASD and Global Delay, providing both classroom support and personal care where required, while working closely with the class teacher and wider support team to ensure pupils remain engaged and make progress throughout the school day.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous experience supporting children with ASD and Global Delay
- Experience providing personal care within an education or care setting
- A caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
